Coca-Cola 125th Anniversary Stamp Collection issued by Singapore Post

이미 다들 알고 계시다시피 올해가 코카-콜라가 세상에 선보인 지 125주년이 되는 해이구요, 코카-콜라 본사가 있는 미국은 물론이고 세계 각 국의 코카-콜라 컴퍼니에서는 나름대로의 프로모션을 진행하고 있습니다. 한국코카-콜라도 처음으로 작게나마 125주년 기념 전시회도 열었고, 지난 포스트에서 소개해드린 다양한 기념품을 제작 하였습니다.

 

As you all know, this year marks the 125th anniversary of Coca-Cola. Not only in the United States, where Coca-Cola is headquartered, but also in countries around the world, the Coca-Cola Company is conducting its own promotional activities to celebrate the occasion. Coca-Cola Korea also held its first small 125th anniversary exhibition and produced various commemorative items.

 

오늘 소개드리는 아이템은 싱가포르 우체국(Singapore Post Ltd. 정확히는 싱가포르 우편 유한회사라고 하는게 맞을 것 같기도 하네요)에서 코카-콜라 싱가포르(Coca-Cola Singapore)와 제휴를 맺고 발매한 코카-콜라 125주년 기념 우표첩입니다.

 

The item we are introducing today is the Coca-Cola 125th Anniversary Stamp Album, released by Singapore Post in partnership with Coca-Cola Singapore.

 

우표첩의 사이즈는 가로 23㎝, 세로 17.5㎝ 이구요, 두꺼운 하드보드 재질로 되어 있습니다. 처음 사진에서 본 것처럼 앞면은 싱가포르의 랜드마크들을 실루엣 위로 여러 풍선에 매달려 하늘을 날아가는 코카-콜라 이미지가 그려져 있습니다.

 

The stamp album measures 23 cm wide and 17.5 cm high, and is made of thick hardboard. As seen in the first photo, the front features an image of Coca-Cola flying through the sky, suspended from several balloons, over silhouettes of Singapore's landmarks.

 

 

 

 

위 사진은 뒷면이고 1886년 존 펨버튼(John Pemberton)에 의해서 코카-콜라가 처음 만들어진 것부터 2011년 125주년을 맞을 때 까지의 주요한 역사가 요약되어 있습니다.

커버를 들어보면 위 사진같은 모습이구요, 상단면에는 코카-콜라가 처음 만들어진 이후 현재의 모습 - 이를테면 코카-콜라라는 단일 음료수에서 3,500여 종 이상의 제품 포트폴리오를 갖추고, 미국 아틀랜타라는 한 도시에서 하루에 9잔 팔리던 것이 현재는 UN 회원국보다 많은 206개국에서 하루 17억 잔이 판매되고 있다는; 그리고 지금까지 추구해 온 가치와 활동들에 대한 짧은 설명이 들어 있습니다.

하단면에는 아이템의 핵심인 우표가 있지요, 아마도 싱가포르의 현재 기준 우편요금이 S$1.10인 듯 합니다. 우표는 4장이지만 이 우표첩의 가격은 S$19.90이구요, 배송비가 따로 추가됩니다.
