Cokeplay Prize Coca-Cola T-Money Transportation Card 코카콜라 교통카드

2007년 코카-콜라에서 운영하는 프로모션 사이트 cokeplay.com에서 당첨된 코카-콜라 교통카드입니다.

This is a Coca-Cola transportation card that I won on cokeplay.com, a promotional site operated by Coca-Cola, in 2007.

코카-콜라 캔 바닥이나 페트병 라벨 안쪽 면에 새겨진 일련번호를 사이트에 입력하면 포인트가 적립되고, 적립된 포인트로 경품 행사에 응모하거나 제휴된 게임 사이트의 아이템이나 MP3를 다운받을 수 있는 연중 프로모션을 운영했습니다.

Coca-Cola ran promotions throughout the year where you could earn points by entering the serial number engraved on the bottom of a Coca-Cola can or the inside of a PET bottle label on the site, and use the accumulated points to enter sweepstakes or download items from affiliated game sites or MP3s.

매월 매력적인 경품이 올라오고, 이 경품에 응모하기 위한 포인트를 모으기 위해 코카-콜라를 지속적으로 구매하게 하는 아주 성공적인 마케팅 프로모션이었습니다. 한국에서 시작해서 미국을 비롯한 여러 나라에서 유사한 프로그램이 운영되고 있습니다. 아쉽게도 한국에서는 코카-콜라가 LG생활건강으로 매각되고 나서 중단되었습니다.

This was a highly successful marketing promotion, featuring attractive monthly prizes and encouraging consumers to purchase Coca-Cola repeatedly to accumulate points for these prizes. Similar programs began in Korea and have since been implemented in several countries, including the United States. Unfortunately, the program was discontinued in Korea after Coca-Cola was acquired by LG Household & Health Care.

X box 나 브랜드 스포츠 의류 등 다양한 경품이 올라왔었지만 저는 이 코카콜라 교통카드를 얻기 위해 수 개월간 응모했었습니다. 그 결과  5월 베팅 이벤트에 당첨되어 이 교통카드를 입수하였지요.

There were various prizes up for grabs, like Xboxes and branded sportswear, but I spent months entering the raffle just to win this Coca-Cola transportation card. As a result, I won the May betting event and received this transportation card.
