Coca-Cola Jun Ji-hyun model phone card: China Unicom

코카-콜라가 광고 목적으로 댓가를 지불한 것인지 통신 회사들이 특정 목적을 가지고 무단으로 사용하는 것인지 잘 모르겠지만 세계 여러나라에서 코카-콜라 이미지를 활용한 디자인의 전화카드를 만들었습니다. 국내나 해외 전화카드 수집가들 사이에서도 나름대로 하나의 테마를 이루고 있는 듯 합니다.

 

It's unclear whether Coca-Cola paid for the advertising or whether telecommunications companies are using it without permission for specific purposes. In many countries around the world, phone cards featuring Coca-Cola images have been created. It seems to have become a theme among phone card collectors both domestically and internationally.

 

저도 50여 장 가지고 있는데 오늘은 첫번째로 그 중 중국 차이나 유니콤의 전화카드입니다. 우리나라의 전지현님이 모델로 나오는 코카-콜라 광고 이미지를 그대로 사용한 6종 시리즈입니다.

 

I have about 50 of them, and today I'm showing you the first of them: a phone card from China Unicom. This is a series of six cards, all featuring the same Coca-Cola advertisement featuring Jun Ji-hyun, a Korean actress.

 

전지현은 2004년 대만 코카-콜라와 1년간 전속 모델 계약을 체결한 바 있습니다. 대만 코카-콜라와 계약해서 활동했는데 어떻게 중국의 통신사 전화카드에 이미지가 사용되었는지는 알 수가 없네요.

 

Jun Ji-hyun signed a one-year exclusive modeling contract with Coca-Cola Taiwan in 2004. It's unclear how her image ended up on a phone card for a Chinese telecommunications company, despite her contract with Coca-Cola Taiwan.
