My first solo exhibition, the Coca-Cola World, was held at the Koreana Museum of Art in Sinsa-dong

안녕하세요, 코카-콜라 컬렉터 민규빠입니다.

지난 대학로 아르코미술관에 이어 오늘부터 약 2개월간 신사동 코리아나미술관 space*c 오픈갤러리에서 그 동안 수집해온 저의 코카-콜라 컬렉션을 전시합니다.

 

Hello, I'm Minkyupa, a Coca-Cola collector.
Following my recent exhibition at the Arko Art Center in Daehangno, I'll be exhibiting my Coca-Cola collection at the Space*c Open Gallery in the Koreana Museum of Art in Sinsa-dong for approximately two months, starting today.

 

 

아직 많은 사람들에게 자신있게 보여줄만한 수준에는 한참 못 미치지만 우연히 좋은 기회가 생겨,부족하지만 편안한 공간에서 자유스럽게 코카-콜라 패키지와 판촉물, 브랜드 상품들을 접할 수 있는 자리를 마련했습니다.

 

Although I'm still far from being able to confidently show it to many people, I had a good opportunity to create a space where people could freely access Coca-Cola packages, promotional items, and branded products in a comfortable space.

 

중복되는 아이템은 배제하고 약 200여 종의 국내외 패키지와 150여 종의 판촉물과 브랜드 상품들을 전시합니다.

 

Excluding duplicated items, I display approximately 200 domestic and international packages and 150 promotional items and brand products.

 

이 중에는 영국에서 발매된 마놀로블라닉이 디자인한 랩핑 컨투어보틀, M5중 유럽 대륙을 대표한 디자이너스 리퍼블릭사에서 디자인한 Love Being, 올해 초 프랑스에서 발매된 칼 라거펠트가 디자인한 알루미늄 보틀 등도 포함되어 있습니다.

 

These include the wrapped contour bottle designed by Manolo Blahnik, released in the UK, the Love Being designed by Designers Republic, which represents the European continent among M5, and the aluminum bottle designed by Karl Lagerfeld, released in France earlier this year.

 

굳이 해외 코카-콜라가 아니어도 국내에서 출시되었던 각종 프로모션 패키지를 보시면 '아~ 이런 디자인도 있었구나' 라고 미처 모르고 계셨던 코카-콜라의 패키지 디자인을 경험하실 수 있습니다. 코카-콜라가 아니라도 패키지 디자인이나 수집에 관심있으신 분들도 많이 구경와 주세요.

 

Even if you're not going overseas, you can experience Coca-Cola package designs you might not have known existed by looking at various promotional packages. Even if you're not interested in the Coca-Cola brand, those interested in packaging design or collecting are encouraged to come check them out.

 

전시 장소는 신사동에 위치한 코리아나 미술관 1층에 위치한 space*c라는 카페입니다. 성수대교 남단 삼원가든에서 개포동 방면으로 2번째 빌딩입니다.

 

The exhibition venue is a cafe called space*c, located on the first floor of the Koreana Museum of Art in Sinsa-dong. It's the second building toward Gaepo-dong from Samwon Garden at the southern end of Seongsu Bridge.

 

 

두 달이라는 긴 시간동안 진행되는 전시회입니다. 주말이나 따뜻한 커피 한 잔이 생각날 때 편안한 마음으로 들러서 편안하게 구경하시고 댓글도 좀 달아주세요.

수집품 교환을 원하시는 분들이나 구매처를 문의하시는 분들, 쪽지나 덧글을 통해서 연락주시는 분들이 늘어나고 있습니다. 정확히는 알 수 없지만 수집품의 규모의 차이는 있겠으나 이미 코카-콜라를 수집하시는 분들의 규모가 수 십명 단위는 넘어선 듯 합니다.

 

이번 전시를 통해서 수집이라는 취미를 가지신 많은 분들과의 교류가 활성화 되면 좋겠다는 생각을 해 봅니다.

기회가 된다면 코카-콜라 수집 커뮤니티도 구축해보고 싶은 마음도 있구요. 같은 의견 가지신 분들의 의견 기다리겠습니다.
