Coca-Cola Box Set to Commemorate the 2010 Shanghai Expo

2010년 중국 상하이(Shanghai, 上海)에서 열렸던 엑스포 (China Shanghai EXPO 2010) 기념 코카-콜라 알루미늄 컨투어보틀 세트입니다.

 

This is a set of Coca-Cola aluminum contour bottles commemorating the China Shanghai EXPO 2010 held in Shanghai, China in 2010.

 

상하이 엑스포는 2010년 5월 1일부터 10월 31일까지 상하이 세계박람회장에서 "Better City, Better life"란 테마로 열렸고요, 투자 총액 30억 달러에 전시회장 면적이 528헥타르(5.28제곱미터)로 역대 세계박람회 중 최대 규모였습니다. 참가국 및 기업이 246개, 방문객 7,300만명에 22,900 여 건의 행사와 자원봉사자만 79,965명이었다고 합니다.

 

The Shanghai Expo, held from May 1 to October 31, 2010, at the Shanghai World Expo Center under the theme of "Better City, Better Life," was the largest world expo ever held, with a total investment of 3 billion dollars and an exhibition area of ​​528 hectares (5.28 square meters). It boasted 246 participating countries and companies, 73 million visitors, 22,900 events, and 79,965 volunteers.

기념보틀 세트는 녹색에너지, 상하이시 랜드마크, 박람회장 중국관, 코카-콜라의 자원재활용(Re-cycle)을 테마로 디자인된 4개의 병으로 이루어져 있습니다.

The commemorative bottle set consists of four bottles designed with the themes of green energy, Shanghai landmarks, the China Pavilion at the Expo, and Coca-Cola's resource recycling (Re-cycle).

 

박스세트의 전면과 측면 모습입니다. 베이지 색상의 박스에 위에서 보여드렸던 4가지 병의 디자인 요소들이 금색으로 프린트되어 있습니다.

상하이 엑스포 기간 중 한국관은 한글자모를 형상화한 전시관 디자인으로 많은 인기를 누리며 일평균 4만여명의 방문객이 찾아 184일간 725만명이 다녀갔다고 합니다. 내년에는 우리나라 여수에서 2012 여수 세계박람회가 개최됩니다. 아무쪼록 성공적으로 치루어지길 바라며, 아울러 2012 여수 엑스포 기념 코카-콜라도 만나볼 수 있게되길 희망해 봅니다. ^^

 

During the Shanghai Expo, the Korean Pavilion, featuring a design inspired by the Korean alphabet, enjoyed immense popularity, attracting an average of 40,000 visitors per day, totaling 7.25 million visitors over 184 days. Next year, the 2012 World Expo will be held in Yeosu, South Korea. I sincerely hope for its success, and I also hope to see a Coca-Cola commemorating the 2012 Yeosu Expo. :)
